He started his career way back in 1992, which is probably 28-years ago, and Dr. Anastasios Koularmanis is now positioned as the Principal of the Saint Demetrios School.

Born to Areti and Demetrios Koularmanis, Dr. Anastasios Koularmanis was born in Toronto London, and right after his birth, his family moved to Corona New York. He completed his education from Queens College, CUNY, and received his Doctorate certificate from St. John’s University in 2016. He started as an educator in NYC Department in 1992 and received his residency in 1999 after he transitioned to the Hicksville School District. On February 1st, 1999, he was given the position of an assistant principal for the Saint Demetrios Greek American School, and immediately after that, he was promoted to the Principal’s position.

Dr. Anastasios Koularmanis Demetrios has dedicated 20-years of this life, improving and upgrading the education system of the Saint Demetrios School so that his students receive the finest academic experience. He improved the institute's educational system, to help the students receive the best education. Saint Demetrios Greek American School became one of the well-known and popular schools across New York City, and it is also recognized as the leading education academy abroad. Because of the school’s prestige and reputation, many well-known figures, dignitaries and athletes have paid a visit to the institute with their presence.
